What is PricesPuff?

Crowd-sourced local fresh-food prices. PricesPuff users share the prices they spot in-store and at markets, so everyone nearby can see what things are going for — and where the good value is. Spot a price high or low, it doesn't matter, posting it to the app allows for price comparisons across stores near you. Post prices to share with the community and help fight the cost of living.

Our mission

To put every local store on the same board — big supermarket or corner greengrocer. Most small stores have no online presence, so they're invisible when comparing prices. PricesPuff gives them a place to be seen, side by side with the big names. No data scraping. No retailer partnerships. Just real prices from real shoppers.

How it works

Prices, stores and locations are displayed market-board style — so you can see at a glance what's trending up or down, where shoppers are active, and which stores are offering good value near you. Prices are shown per unit across the board — kilo, litre or each — so whether it's a premium label or the house brand, you're always comparing apples with apples.

What we list

PricesPuff focuses on a select few categories of fresh food staples:

• Fruit and Vegetables

That's it. We don't list groceries, brand names, specialty items or flavour variants. What matters is the item, the quantity, and the price. A single corn cob, a kilo of mince — keeping it simple, this is PricesPuff.
